You can find out all about these unique prehistoric creatures at the new Megafauna Central display in Alice Springs. This exciting exhibit tells the story of the incredible megafauna of Central Australia of the Miocene era, whose remains were discovered at Alcoota Scientific Reserve, about 150km north east of Alice Springs.
