オーストラリアの中心を訪れ、本当の大自然を体験してください。砂漠の荒々しい風景、太古からの岩石層、そしてこの地域固有の数多くの野生動物が待っています。

Travel to Central Australia and experience the true Australian Outback. Rugged desert landscapes, ancient rock formations, and an abundance of native wildlife and exotic flora are all on display around Uluru.

Drive, walk or ride through the red desert sands and eucalypt trees of Uluru-Kata Tjuta and Watarrka National Parks, and discover an inspiring landscape of great cultural and environmental importance.

More than meets the eye

The World Heritage-listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park is a sanctuary of nature, wildlife and indigenous culture. It is about as central as Central Australia gets, and is one of the world’s great desert experiences.

Walk the trails that surround the two famous rock formations on a guided tour and see the vegetation through the eyes of the Anangu people, the traditional owners of the land. Discover tree sap that acts as an ointment for cuts and sores, leaves that produce lolly-like sweets, and a nutritious grub hidden beneath the roots of desert bush. There’s definitely more than to the Australia Outback than just blue skies and red dirt.

Grand canyon

The walking trails of Watarrka National Park boast hundreds of native plant species and countless birds, reptiles and mammals. Peregrine falcons soar high above King Canyon’s 300 metre cliff faces, ring-tailed dragons scurry from hot rocks, and western bower birds wander through the lush ferns of the ‘Garden of Eden’ gorge below.

Ride in style

Journey by road or take to the skies and absorb the immense beauty and colour of this desert region. Local companies offer a range of transport options from exciting helicopter flights over Uluru at sunset, to camel rides across the red dirt of the Australian desert.
