The Northern Territory is unlike any place on earth; it's not a place you visit just to take a look around, it's a place to immerse yourself and be free.

In the Territory you have to smell the fresh air as the sunrises over the West MacDonnell Ranges, taste fresh for the first time eating a mud crab caught that day, hear stories over 65,000 years old, see breathtaking horizons from the top of a Kakadu escarpment or get in touch with history by seeing Aboriginal rock art.

The Territory gives you the freedom to explore and to get away. If you are heading to Darwin treat your tastebuds and indulge your sense of fun and adventure in the Territory's tropical capital city. Darwin is world famous for it's fabulous food, colourful outdoor markets and diverse bag of adventure activities.

In Alice Springs you can explore a thriving, spirited outback centre, famous for the personality of it's locals and contemporary and traditional art as the natural wonders, including the Larapinta Trail and the East and West MacDonnell Ranges that surround the town.

Or visit one of the great natural wonders of the world, Uluru/Ayers Rock. Not only a spectacular natural formation but a deeply spiritual place. You can feel a powerful presence the moment you first set eyes on it. Choose to walk with a traditional owner, join a camel tour, self-drive or dine under a canopy of stars, there's lots to see and do, and something to suit everyone.
