Tiwi Islands

Litchfield National Park

Just a 90-minute drive from Darwin, it delivers drama and beauty on screen in equal measure, but for locals like Shari it’s far more personal. Growing up, she spent countless weekends here with Buley Rockhole always her favourite spot to swim and unwind.

Mindil Beach Sunset Markets

Only minutes from Darwin’s city centre, the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets capture the Territory’s energy at its best. With food stalls, live music and the iconic view of the sun dropping into the Arafura Sea, it’s a place where locals and visitors come together. Shari has always loved the buzz of Mindil and seeing it on screen highlights the rich market culture of the Top End.
